Can tiles be fixed onto timber floors?
Yes they can but the substrate must conform to the relevant British Standard. (BS 5385 Part 3:1989). And with the correct adhesive and grouts, years of pleasure can be had from the floor without a problem.
Can you supply tiles and adhesives only?
All materials and tiling tools can be supplied for you to carry out the project on your own. From our vast network of tile suppliers in Essex, London and the home counties.
Can you tile over existing tiles?
Yes, as long as the existing tiles are firm and secure and are able to support the weight of the new tiles.
Can you tile on uneven walls?
To a certain extent yes, but you may have to use an adhesive that will allow thick bedding. Which may involve extra labour & adhesive costs.
Can you tile wooden floors,like the one in your picture?
As long as the floor is prepared properly, and flexible adhesive is used, but get professional advise.
Is tiling suitable for external situations?
Tiling can be placed in any situation external or otherwise, as long as the tiles and adhesive are of suitable grade to be used in these situations. Natural stone or slate looks beautiful and is well suited due to its astetic properties.
Do we carry out work on private properties? And does it cost much?
Every job is different and our prices are based on the area and the tiles to be installed.
Can you make the walls suitable to recieve my new tiles.
Generally we would like you to carry out any prep' works, but can put you in touch with people that can carry out this work, prior to installing the tiles.
